Embodiment of Divine Souls, Amma’s Most Beloved, Sweet Children,
I love you, my sweet babies!

This is the fifth day of Navaratri festivals. In Chandi path [Chandi Sapta Shati] the fifth to the thirtheenth chapter, all the nine chapters, are the form of Maha Saraswati. Whenever people chant this fifth chapter, Maha Saraswati will be pleased with the chanting.

Embodiment of Divine Souls, my sweet children, who is Saraswati? In Bhagavat Gita Bhagavan Sri Krishna mentioned about the supreme knowledge. Maha Saraswati is nothing but the supreme knowledge, Brahma Vidya. Maha Saraswati’s abode is Satyaloka. Wherever there is truth, Mother dwells there.

According to Krishna’s Bhagavat Gita:
Bahu Nam Janma Namante—after innumerable, countless births
Jnana Vanmam Prapachyate—when people get maturity, that maturity takes them towards the supreme truth.
Maturity gives the people truth—the right understanding, the real awareness towards the truth. Truth is our supreme Self. All the living beings come from the truth only. So that’s why there is Maha Saraswati; wherever there is truth, Mother Saraswati dwells in truth. Mother’s form is truth only. Wherever there is humility, humble behavior, kindness, compassion, divine attributes like wisdom, inner happiness, inner vision, all these attributes are taking you towards the absolute truth. Mother’s form is truth.

In Chandi path the first chapter is Maha Kali, Rig Veda swarupam. Om buhu is the Rig Veda swarupam [the form of the Rig Veda]. Om bhuvaha is the second mantra in Gayatri vyahrutis. That bhuvaha is the Yajur Veda swarupam [the form of the Yajur Veda], the form of Sri Maha Lakshmi. And then, Om suvaha, that is the fifth chapter, the form of Maha Saraswati, the form of the Sama Veda. Sama Veda means balancing life, balancing mind, balancing thoughts, everything in a balanced way. That knowledge comes from Maha Saraswati Devi. In this very powerful fifth chapter, Divine Mother Maha Saraswati is praised in the first sloka itself:

Ganta Sula Hala Ni Shanka Musale
Chakram Dhanusayakam
Hastabjaihi Gananta Vilasat
Sitam Suturiya Prabham
Gauri Deha Samudbhavam Trijagatam
Adara Bhutam Mahe
Purvamatra Saraswati Manubhaje
Shumbhadi Daityardhinim

Symbolically this very powerful sloka mentions Mother Maha Saraswati’s weapons that are in her hands. The first weapon is the bell in Divine Mother Maha Saraswati’s hands. Whenever the bells sound—the sound of the bell is nothing but the Omkara sound [the sound of Om]. And the second weapon is the conch. Whenever the conch is blown, Omkara comes from the conch. Symbolically all the weapons are close to the Omkara sound only, Omkara only. Mother Maha Saraswati is Nada Swarupini. Without sound how can we imagine this entire world? Mother’s language is absolute silence but we need some special sounds on this beautiful Mother Earth. So, the beautiful sounds—bee sounds, waterfalls’ sounds, and the wind sound, the sound in the desert, beautiful musical instruments’ sounds, music—everywhere beauty, Mother is beauty, Divine Mother is beautiful Divine Mother—all these are the blessings of Maha Saraswati. Divine Mother Maha Saraswati vanquished two demons, Shumbha-Nishumbha in these chapters.

Maha Saraswati bless this world. Everybody needs the supreme knowledge, inner silence, inner vision, inner beauty. Everything is inside. Mother, open everybody’s hearts to experience absolute happiness and absolute silence in this lifetime.
