Chakra Cleansing Meditation Retreat In this rare event, Amma will teach Chakra Cleansing practices previously only available to those who could travel to her ashram in India. Out of intense spiritual compassion, she is now going to bring the powerful Chakra Cleansing practices to the United States. This retreat concentrates on the first two chakras - namely Muladhara and Swadhisthana. For the students who attended last year's Guru Purnima Meditation Retreat, Amma will teach the second chakra. For those who are attending the Chakra Cleansing Retreat for the first time, she will teach the techniques for the first chakra. Shaktipat, Divine Radiance Transmission Amma will give Shaktipat transmision for the very first time in the West during this retreat. Amma will place her hand on each participant's head during meditation and transmit her divine radiance. Shaktipat is an extremely powerful spiritual gift to receive from Amma. It will help one's spiritual progress with an added boost, to awaken the Kundalini Shakti, which is the presence of the Divine Mother in the form of profound inner spiritual energy. Retreat Participation Because this is a Chakra Cleansing Retreat the spiritual and transformative energy will be very transformative. To preserve a quiet and meditative space for you to reap the full benefits of the Retreat, all registrants, including those who live in and around Houston, are strongly advised to stay at the Sheraton Friday and Saturday during the retreat. Please note there is a free shuttle between the airport and the Sheraton for those traveling to Houston. Register Early This retreat has a limited attendance. To ensure your place register early. Early registration also gives you a discounted fee, and assists the organizers to provide for everyone's services and comfort. So please register as early as you can.
**Retreat fee includes Friday and Saturday nights only. Discounted rate with Sheraton only available for Wednesday, July 16, Thursday, July 17 and Sunday, July 20. Fee Information ~ Fee Includes vegetarian meals. ~ Senior citizens (over 65) and students (21 and younger) will get $25 discount on above retreat fees. This discount does not apply to the hotel rates for the extra nights. ~ Refunds through June 19 only (with $15 cancellation fee). No refunds after this date. We will acknowledge all completed registration forms as we receive them and send a confirmation letter with more information, including guidelines on what to wear and bring to the retreat.
